From the pursuit of freedom to the SaaS revolution
This editorial is to introduce myself and share my vision.
My professional journey began in the late 1990s as I explored the potential of the emerging web. I quickly saw it as a lever for freedom, efficiency and value creation — principles that would later guide my product choices.
I first worked in media as a journalist and then a national radio host. This step taught me clarity, cadence and editorial rigor — essential qualities for designing understandable, reliable and useful product experiences.
From ideas to action
Exposure to diverse markets and cultures (India, Thailand, Laos, Japan, Canada, China) forged a simple conviction: there is no single business model. Success requires pragmatism, respect for local specificities and an obsession with the user. London then became my anchor. Between 2013 and 2015, I immersed myself in the SaaS world alongside product, sales and support teams.
In 2015, I created my first company. In 2016, I launched francejetequitte.com — not to ‘leave’, but to inform and broaden perspectives. In 2019, meeting Jean‑Sébastien, president of Libro (a booking SaaS born in Montreal), was a turning point: together we developed its presence in Europe until 2025, focusing on onboarding, service quality and growth.
From London, I support players in the restaurant and hospitality sectors, with more than £300,000 in cumulative revenue.
From these varied software experiences came the ambition that shapes Komby: an international SaaS platform, WIPO‑patented, designed ‘multilingual by design’, accessible and modular, integrating key tools (payments, email, analytics), compliant by default, and user‑centric.
Concretely, Komby commits to 5 pillars:

That’s why I bring Komby to the world: to make professional technology accessible to everyone, everywhere, without compromising between quality, simplicity and budget.
